Monterey Celebrates 150 Homes Settled

Monterey has reached an exciting milestone, with the settlement of its 150th home marking another chapter in the growth of this thriving over-55s lifestyle community in Kendall. What began with the first settlement in April 2023 has steadily evolved into a welcoming neighbourhood that today is home to 265 residents.

Over the past three years, Monterey has continued to welcome new residents while fostering the strong sense of community that makes the estate so special. From neighbours catching up over coffee in the clubhouse to friendly competitions on the bowling green, the estate has become a place where lasting friendships and meaningful connections are formed every day.
 

The milestone reflects more than just growth in numbers. It highlights the lifestyle that residents have embraced since moving to Monterey. Community events, social gatherings, resident-led activities and shared spaces have helped create an environment where people can enjoy an active and connected lifestyle while feeling right at home.

As Monterey continues to grow, the future looks bright. Construction is progressing across the estate, with new homes being completed and additional community facilities on the way, including the opening of the Community Shed, new parklands and an off-leash dog area.
